Moreover, iPhones offer a feature to change your display to black and white, or grayscale, which can serve various purposes. This includes alleviating eye fatigue, assisting individuals who have certain forms of color vision deficiency, and even reducing distractions in your environment. Apple Revamps 2025 Smartwatch Collection with Apple Watch Ultra 3, Series 11, and SE 3

During the “Awe Dropping” event today, Apple introduced the next trio of its smartwatch range: the budget-friendly Apple Watch SE 3, the premium Apple Watch Series 11, and the luxurious Apple Watch Ultra 3. Each of these devices showcases notable enhancements compared to previous Apple Watch models, featuring slimmer profiles, larger screens, and a host of new capabilities designed to maximize your health tracking experience with Apple Watch.

A standout new version is the Apple Watch SE 3, equipped with the S10 chip, enabling additional features such as Always-On Display—this marks the debut of this functionality in the SE series. Users can also access new gesture controls found on other Apple Watch models, along with capabilities such as wrist temperature sensing and sleep apnea alerts.

The Apple Watch SE 3 will also come with an innovative Sleep Score feature, which analyzes your sleep duration, bedtime, wake-up time, and the time spent in various sleep stages. This functionality will also be available on both Series 11 and Ultra 3. The SE 3 has the ability to play media directly through its speaker, and Apple asserts that the battery can support up to 18 hours of usage on a single charge. Additionally, with the S10 chip, fast charging is now a viable option.

Apple Watch remains committed to health features.

The Apple Watch Series 11, destined to be the new flagship model, is touted by Apple as the thinnest and most resilient watch they’ve produced to date. As has become customary with each iteration, Apple has intensified its focus on heart health by incorporating blood pressure monitoring directly into the Apple Watch. Apple states that this feature can notify you of potential hypertension simply by wearing the watch. However, it’s important to note that it may not catch every instance of hypertension, so consulting a doctor is advisable if you have concerns.

Moreover, Apple has upgraded the Series 11’s battery, allowing for a lifespan of up to 24 hours on a single charge, providing users with increased daily smartwatch usage.

A more impressive year for the Apple Watch Ultra.

Significant upgrades were anticipated for the Watch Ultra 3, and Apple has certainly delivered. Furthermore, the latest Ultra model boasts a larger LTPO3 display with slimmer bezels, resulting in a brighter screen and a 1Hz refresh rate in always-on mode, which contributes to a more fluid overall experience.

To enhance functionality further, Apple has improved the Ultra 3’s battery to allow for up to 42 hours of life, due to its enhanced battery. The company is also rolling out additional satellite functionalities, including Emergency SOS via satellite for contacting emergency services and Find My via satellite to share your location with family and friends. Every Apple Watch Ultra 3 purchaser will enjoy satellite connectivity free of charge for two years.

Leaked Nest Doorbell 2K Package Unveils Contents and Features

The Nest Doorbell 2K may incorporate HDR video recording and support for Gemini AI.

A new line of smart home devices from Google is on the horizon, and a recent leak has provided us with a glimpse at the retail packaging and specifications of the upcoming Google Nest Doorbell 2K.

During the Pixel 10 series launch event, Google hinted at the imminent introduction of new smart home devices. Shortly afterward, the company shared another teaser on X/Twitter declaring that Gemini is coming to Google Home on October 1, while also hinting at the new Nest Cam. Since then, the upcoming Nest items have been detected within the Google Home app.

Now, a fresh leak offers us our initial view of the Nest Doorbell 2K’s packaging and some of its features. A Reddit user named one2zerojigawat allegedly obtained the smart doorbell nearly three weeks prior to its launch (via Android Authority).

Similar to other recent Google gadgets, the Nest Doorbell 2K will arrive in streamlined packaging. The box verifies the official designation as “Nest Doorbell 2K” instead of Nest Doorbell 3rd gen. It also indicates whether the doorbell is wired or wireless, alongside notable Gemini branding.

On the reverse side, the packaging discloses specifications such as 2K resolution, HDR video, a 166-degree field of view, night vision, two-way audio, and resistance to weather conditions. Inside the package, you’ll discover the doorbell, chime, base plate, a 20-degree wedge, wire connector, and screws/anchors.

The most intriguing aspect of the packaging, however, is a label at the bottom: “Subscription (sold separately) required for specific features, including Gemini and various AI experiences.” While the precise features we can anticipate from the new doorbell are not listed, they are likely associated with Nest Aware being rebranded as Google Home Premium, along with a more expensive tier dubbed Google Home Premium Advanced.

We still lack information regarding the pricing or availability of the new Nest Doorbell 2K, but with Google poised to provide updates on Gemini and smart home technology on October 1, all the surrounding news about Google’s latest smart home devices should be announced in just a few days.

### Apple Unveils AirPods Pro 3 Featuring Live Translation Capability

Apple has officially revealed the launch of the AirPods Pro 3, the newest version of its highly favored wireless earbuds. This latest generation brings numerous upgrades, with a notable highlight being the groundbreaking Live Translation feature.

#### Live Translation Capability

Among the most thrilling innovations in the AirPods Pro 3 is the Live Translation capability. Users can engage this function by tapping the stems of both earbuds. Once activated, the AirPods Pro 3 will eliminate background sounds and concentrate on the discussions surrounding you. When the device identifies a foreign language, it translates the spoken phrases in real-time and conveys the translated output directly to the user through the earbuds.

This capability is driven by Apple Intelligence, utilizing technology akin to that employed in the translation features available across Apple’s operating systems. The prospect of real-time translation is set to appeal to a diverse array of consumers, especially those who travel frequently or operate in multilingual settings.

OpenAI Announces AI-Driven Animated Film “Critterz” for Hollywood Premiere

OpenAI, the technology startup recognized for ChatGPT and various AI solutions, is making its way into Hollywood with ambitions to transform “Critterz,” a short AI-animated film, into a complete feature. The project, which carries a budget of up to $30 million, is aimed for completion in nine months, with aspirations for a premiere at the Cannes Film Festival in May 2026. This endeavor strives to showcase that AI can generate films more rapidly and more economically than conventional techniques, as animated features usually require around three years to finalize.

“Critterz” could ignite debate in Hollywood, as film guilds and unions may have concerns regarding AI taking jobs. Nonetheless, OpenAI intends to employ real actors for voice performances and artists to produce sketches for AI models like GPT-5. The film’s screenplay features writers from “Paddington in Peru.” The project aspires for a worldwide theatrical release but currently does not have a distributor.

“Critterz” emerged from brief animations utilizing OpenAI’s Dall-E and Sora tools, inspired by Chad Nelson’s concept. The narrative centers on forest animals disturbed by an outsider, Dennis, who is documenting a film. The short film highlights AI’s capabilities in image and video generation, with the full-length movie anticipated to leverage newer AI advancements.

OpenAI’s ChatGPT 4o image model has gained traction, yet its Sora video tool might fall short for a complete feature. Google’s superior AI video technologies, such as Veo 3, have established a high standard. OpenAI may need to create competitive tools alongside GPT-5 to produce an engaging animated film.
