60W Pocket Cloud is an innovative microSD card reader with 60W USB PD passthrough compatible with Android (USB-C) and iOS (USB-C or Lightning) devices, as well as other hosts with a USB port.
In the past, smartphones often included a microSD card slot, a feature now rare. As device storage fills up, one may resort to purchasing cloud storage or using a microSD card reader connected to a phone’s USB-C port, the latter preventing phone charging while in use. Conner’s 60W Pocket Cloud offers microSD card storage for devices that still allows simultaneous USB PD charging.

To work with Android smartphones, devices need an OTG-capable USB-C port. When using USB-C, the device can be powered by the host’s battery or an external USB power supply. With Lightning, an external power supply is required for iPhones. It also acts as a card reader and provides USB PD passthrough for laptops, mini PCs, and single board computers.
Beyond hardware, Pocket Cloud is compatible with the Vinpower BackupBOT app for Android and iOS. The app enables selective or full data backup from smartphones, media playback from connected storage, and direct saving of photos and videos to the microSD card.
Conner launched 60W Pocket Cloud on Kickstarter with a funding goal of 7,000 HKD ($895 USD). The “Starter Pack”—the device alone—is available for $19. Required cables can be added for $5 each, and bundle options offer reduced unit prices. Shipping is extra, ranging from $5 to $15. Deliveries are slated to start by April 2026.
