Security intelligence firm LogRhythm Inc. today announced an expanded partnership with cybersecurity company Novacoast Inc. to strengthen security operations and ensure comprehensive protection.
The partnership sees Novacoast become the first LogRhythm Axon service provider to provide level one and level two analyst services — entry-level to intermediate-level technical support services — and custom content for the cloud-native software-as-a-service security information and event management platform. LogRythm is also transitioning its security operations to the new Axon platform.
LogRhythm Axon launched in October and is pitched as a force multiplier for overwhelmed security teams. Axon provides intuitive ways for security teams to achieve visibility across cloud and on-premises log sources, establishing a foundation for their security practices.
Novacoast has been a LogRhythm partner since 2015, with the expanded relationship including Novacoast co-managing key aspects of LogRhythm’s internal security operations on the Axon platform.
Key benefits of the partnership include detection engineering expertise, with Novacoast bringing its expertise in threat detection to the party. Novacoast has developed a repository of analytics content for the Axon platform, designed to defend LogRhythm and its customers from cyber threats.
Under the partnership, LogRhythm and Novacoast will continually develop analytic content, bolstering the Axon platform’s ability to identify and counteract malicious actors and reducing the time to detect and respond to threats.
The partnership also sees Novacoast actively share insights on the evolving threat landscape as well as detection content. The collaborative approach is said to allow the Novacoast service to evolve with a continually expanding repository of available content, benefiting users and customers alike.

LogRythm was most recently in the news in August when it partnered with Cimcor Inc. to help organizations increase visibility and protect against modern cyberattacks. The partnership, which includes Cimcor’s CinTrack file integrity monitoring solution, uses integrity data to identify zero-day or unpatched attacks, ransomware activity and configuration vulnerabilities.
