Launched merely six months after the V30 Pro, the V40 Pro presents a variety of advancements that enable it to shine in a saturated market. With its ultra-slim profile, powerful Dimensity 9200+ chipset, and remarkable camera configuration, the V40 Pro is a device that truly captures attention.

The Vivo V40 Pro exemplifies Vivo’s dedication to design sophistication. This phone ranks among the slimmest in its category, measuring a mere 7.58mm in thickness while accommodating a substantial 5500mAh battery. Boasting a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2800 x 1260 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate, the V40 Pro’s display dimensions remain unchanged from the V30 Pro. However, the V40 Pro shines brighter, reaching up to 4500 nits in HDR content, facilitating outdoor use even under bright sun.
A noteworthy upgrade in this iteration is the inclusion of stereo speakers, which immensely enrich the multimedia experience. The display showcases lively colors and exceptional contrast, creating a delightful user experience for gaming, streaming, and everyday tasks.
### Performance and Battery Life: A Real Powerhouse
Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ chipset, the Vivo V40 Pro represents a substantial enhancement over the hardware of the V30 Pro. This latest chipset incorporates Arm’s v9 cores, featuring a Cortex X3 at 3.35GHz, three Cortex A715 cores at 3.0GHz, and four A520 cores clocked at 2.0GHz. This configuration guarantees the V40 Pro can tackle demanding applications and gaming effortlessly.
In benchmark assessments, the V40 Pro outshined both its predecessor and most other mid-range devices in its class. With 12GB of RAM and 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage, it ensures seamless multitasking and rapid data access. The phone also offers support for Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.3, and AptX HD codecs, solidifying its status as a connectivity powerhouse.
