Google Gemini Becomes More Personalized with New Search History Feature
Google is enhancing its AI assistant, Gemini, by rolling out a new feature designed to foster a more personal and user-centric experience. The latest update—Search History—enables users to revisit and rediscover past interactions with the AI through various keywords and topics. What Is the New Search History Feature?
The Search History feature was initially uncovered by 9to5Google and is now slowly being made available to users. It can be accessed via the side panel of the Gemini app. Users can tap the hamburger menu icon located in the top-left corner of the app to find it. A newly introduced magnifying glass icon leads to the Search History page.
Upon entering, users will see a search bar where they can enter keywords or topics from earlier conversations. Gemini provides a list of pertinent results, each showcasing the original query along with a snippet of the AI’s response. Selecting any result brings the user back to the complete conversation, allowing them to easily continue from where they left off or refer to prior information.
Enhanced Personalization
