As of today, users of ChatGPT Team, Enterprise, and Edu tiers can utilize a new feature known as Record Mode, alongside cloud drive integration.
### ChatGPT Record Mode
The Record Mode feature is currently accessible for users of the ChatGPT Mac application. By pressing the newly added Record button, users can initiate a widget that starts recording and transcribing audio in real-time. The transcriptions are then arranged into organized notes, emphasizing overall summaries, key points, action items, and open questions.
A significant benefit of this feature is its operational ease; in contrast to other tools such as Notion or Zoom’s meeting bots that necessitate participation in meetings, ChatGPT’s Record Mode listens through the device to produce structured notes without requiring participation.
### Cloud Drives
Alongside Record Mode, OpenAI has integrated support for various cloud platforms, including Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, Box, and SharePoint. This integration enables ChatGPT to access users’ files to offer contextually rich answers to queries like “What was our Q1 revenue last year?” or “How many times did I use maritime transport in my latest trip report?”
OpenAI stresses that it does not train on data from Teams, Edu, and Enterprise users, including connected data. The assistant produces structured replies with citations extracted from the user’s documents while complying with existing file permissions.

Today’s update also brings new connectors for platforms like HubSpot, Linear, and selected Microsoft and Google tools. This improvement allows teams to compile research reports or project documents by integrating internal data with external sources through OpenAI’s Canvas tool. Supported platforms include:
