With Android 16 being released today on Google’s Pixels, there’s plenty of exciting developments for both developers and users.

Google outlined its newest Dev Blog for Android 16 in a press release, highlighting its Pixel beta testers. As the official update rolls out today (June 10), Google states that Pixel testers who participated in its Beta 4.1 can withdraw from the program. After doing so, Pixel users will receive the stable version of Android 16, like everyone else. Please note: this can only be done if you have not accepted entry into Android 16’s QPR1 Beta testing.

Android 16 is launching on Pixel devices today; however, Google mentions that the update is expected to start appearing on other OEM devices “in the upcoming months.” Naturally, this suggests brands like Samsung, Motorola, OnePlus, and others.
