However, Google hinted that the headset would be “accessible later this year.” A recent report from a Korean news site supports Google’s assertions, suggesting that the XR headset might finally debut in September.
The report states that “Samsung Electronics is set to introduce its extended reality (XR) headset ‘Project Moohan’ at the domestic Unpacked event on September 29.”
However, there is a caveat: immediate purchase of the headset may not be possible, as the OEM plans to trial the XR headset in Korea starting October 13, before distributing it worldwide.
