### Apple Collaborates with McDonald’s for F1 The Movie Premiere in Latin America

Apple is making a bold move for the worldwide launch of *F1 The Movie*, starring Brad Pitt, through a partnership with McDonald’s in select Latin American nations. This collaboration enables fans to savor a Formula 1-themed combo meal while also obtaining exclusive miniature vehicles.

#### McMenu F1 The Movie Combo

Commencing June 25, McDonald’s will roll out the limited-time “McMenu F1 The Movie” combo at outlets in Argentina, Brazil, and Mexico. This unique menu offering celebrates the film and emphasizes McDonald’s status as an official Formula 1 sponsor in the area.

In Brazil, patrons can purchase the Bacon Quarter Pounder with Cheese combo and choose to pay an extra R$64.00 (about $11.60) for one of two exclusive 1:43 scale collectible F1 cars. One car showcases McDonald’s signature colors, while the other represents the fictional racing team APXGP from the movie.

#### Marketing Insights

Ilca Sierra, Chief Marketing Officer of McDonald’s Brazil, stressed the campaign’s intention to engage sports aficionados and collectors. She remarked, “It’s about enhancing connections, invoking memories, and igniting new narratives around a shared passion,” underlining the emotional relationship between McDonald’s and Formula 1.

#### Immersive Experiences

To elevate the campaign, McDonald’s and Apple are crafting immersive experiences in São Paulo. The famous “Méqui 1000” outlet on Avenida Paulista will undergo a racetrack-themed makeover, adorned with F1 flags and displaying a real race car. Furthermore, another McDonald’s venue on Avenida Henrique Schaumann will exhibit a full-size replica of an F1 car and provide a racing simulator for guests on weekends from June 28 to July 20.

With just 92,000 collectible cars on offer in Brazil, fans are urged to act swiftly to secure their miniatures.

#### Future Promotions

Currently, it is uncertain if similar promotions will be available in additional countries aside from Argentina and Mexico. Apple has been approached for more details.
