In case you didn’t catch it, here’s a brief summary of everything that was revealed.
Google has just concluded this year’s Pixel 10 launch event, referred to as Made by Google! The tech giant has unveiled four new devices in the Pixel 10 series, maintaining a lineup similar to the previous year, along with a stylish and powerful Pixel Watch 4, a set of budget-friendly Buds 2a, and the Buds Pro 2 in a fresh color. Here’s a summary of what was revealed.
Pixel 10 series
Upon first look, all three devices in the Pixel 10 series maintain their recognizable design: rounded edges, flat sides, and a display featuring a prominent rear camera bar. Inside, the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, and Pixel 10 Pro XL are powered by the new and robust Google Tensor G5 processor and are equipped with the Titan M2 security coprocessor.
Google is finally incorporating Qi2 charging into these devices. Each model features a battery life exceeding 30 hours, and can last up to 100 hours with Extreme Battery Saver activated. They all include support for Pixelsnap wireless charging, which is sold separately. In terms of AI capabilities, Gemini Nano will be integrated into these devices, which is designed to simplify tasks for users. Features like “Add Me,” “Camera Coach,” “Night Sight,” “Astrophotography,” and additional photo editing tools such as “Edit with Ask Photos,” “Pixel Studio,” “Auto frame,” “Reimagine,” among others are expected on these devices.
The trio also comes with comprehensive security measures designed by Google, including multi-layer hardware security. All three devices launch with Android 16 pre-installed and are intended to receive seven years of operating system, security, and Pixel Drop updates.
Pixel 10:
The base model of the Pixel series receives notable enhancements, particularly in the camera department. Google has finally added a third lens to the device’s rear camera setup, aligning it with the rest of the series.
The Pixel 10 features a 48MP main sensor, a 13MP ultrawide camera, and a 10.8MP telephoto lens. Its front camera boasts 10.5MP for all your selfie needs. The base model Pixel 10 retains the 6.3-inch display, which is safeguarded by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2, paired with a polished rear panel featuring a satin finish, also crafted from Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2. The frame of the device is made from aerospace-grade aluminum.
Regarding the battery, the phone is equipped with a larger 4,970 mAh battery that can reach up to 55% charge within 30 minutes of charging.
The phone has an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance and comes with a fingerprint-resistant coating that helps maintain its cleanliness from smudges. However, testing is needed to confirm its effectiveness. The Pixel 10 is available in a new metallic Indigo color, alongside Frost, Lemongrass, and Obsidian, with a starting price of $799.

Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL:
The Pixel 10 Pro features the same 6.3-inch display, while the larger Pixel 10 Pro XL is equipped with a 6.8-inch display. Both phones offer a refresh rate of 120Hz and can achieve 3300 nits of peak brightness. They also support a new flicker-sensitive accessibility feature that could be advantageous for users with sensitive eyes. The Pixel 10 Pro is powered by a slightly larger 4,707 mAh battery, while the Pixel 10 Pro XL has an impressive 5,200mAh battery.
The rear camera array on both phones consists of a 50 MP wide, a 48 MP ultrawide, and another 48 MP 5x telephoto lens, accompanied by a 42MP front camera perfect for selfies and video calls. The cameras are capable of 8K video recording at 24/30 FPS (aided by Video Boost), 4K video recording at 24/30/60 FPS, and 1,080p video recording at 24/30/60 FPS, featuring “Pro Res Zoom” up to 100x.
Not much has changed regarding the actual specifications of the devices, apart from the battery size, the Tensor G5 processor, and the additional AI features. Visually, it’s difficult to distinguish between a 10 Pro and a 10 Pro XL. It is only upon closer inspection that you can notice the XL is larger.
The Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL are available in new Moonstone, a light green Jade, Porcelain, and Obsidian color options. Both the Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL
