Honor has unveiled its newest clamshell foldable, the Magic V Flip 2, in China, highlighting its exceptional photography features. The device boasts a 200MP primary camera and a 50MP ultra-wide-angle macro lens, branding it as the “ultimate selfie” gadget. Users can make use of the 4-inch cover display for a distinctive preview experience, enhancing the process of capturing selfies. Additionally, the phone comes with a 6.8-inch internal display and is driven by Honor’s AI for image editing and everyday tasks.

The Magic V Flip 2 is crafted as a luxury accessory, with a limited edition version influenced by “crushed stardust” hues, in partnership with Prof. Jimmy Choo, OBE. It presents several AI-enhanced features such as Ultra-Wide Portrait mode, AI Super Zoom, and a variety of post-production tools like AI Edit and Passers-by Eraser.

The device is powered by a 5,500mAh silicon-carbon battery, supporting 80W wired charging, 50W wireless charging, and 7.5W reverse wireless charging. Offered in purple, white, and grey, the phone has configurations of up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage. The Magic V Flip 2 will launch in China on August 28, starting at 5,999 yuan (~$835).
