While speculations regarding the new Apple TV 4K have been scarce, we have a timeframe for its release thanks to Mark Gurman from Bloomberg.
Earlier this year, Gurman shared Apple’s significant plans for 2025. Among those plans? A new Apple TV 4K model.
He mentions that the next generation Apple TV 4K is “scheduled for release toward the end of the year.”
Apple typically hosts a couple of major launches in the fall:
– September usually introduces new iPhone and Apple Watch variants, along with occasional AirPods
– then October concentrates on other products, including the iPad and Mac
According to Gurman’s article, it seems the new Apple TV 4K might debut in October or November.
Nonetheless, it’s always a possibility that Apple could unveil its new Apple TV 4K during the iPhone 17 event.
Especially if Apple has an Apple TV+ promotional video planned for that event, it could make sense to pair it with the new Apple TV hardware.
Whether it’s in September or afterwards, this new version will launch almost precisely three years after the previous Apple TV refresh.
