The upcoming smart glasses from the company, rumored to feature a single ocular HUD, have unexpectedly appeared in a leaked video. A recent leak from Meta in an unlisted video appears to showcase the firm’s new HUD smart glasses. Referred to by the codename Hypernova, these glasses could be marketed as “Meta Ray-Ban Display.” The leaked footage discloses features like a single lens, Meta AI live translation, map guidance, and an sEMG bracelet for texting. The design showcases an all-black frame adorned with Meta’s logo and equipped with a camera. The sEMG bracelet enables users to interact with the HUD by using electrical impulses generated by hand and wrist muscles. Furthermore, new Oakley smart glasses featuring a visor-like design were also identified in the video. This leak occurs just ahead of the Meta Connect 2025 event on September 17, where further information may be disclosed.
