RedMagic Launches Gaming Smartphone Featuring Built-in Water Cooling System

The RedMagic 11 Pro is poised for a worldwide launch on November 3, following its debut in China. This gaming smartphone from Nubia is turning heads with its state-of-the-art features, notably its groundbreaking cooling system. It is the inaugural mass-produced device to feature a dual liquid-and-air cooling system, employing a server-grade liquid and a 24,000rpm fan for efficient heat dissipation.

Equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor and up to 24GB of RAM, the RedMagic 11 Pro guarantees exceptional performance. Additionally, it includes a dedicated RedCore R4 chip for improved graphics and touch responsiveness. The phone is powered by a robust 8,000mAh battery, providing over 13 hours of gameplay, though the global variant might have a reduced battery size to comply with regional regulations.

The gadget comes with a 6.8-inch BOE X10 AMOLED display featuring a 144Hz refresh rate and an under-display camera. It supports sophisticated streaming options with dual 50MP cameras, enabling up to 8K60Hz streaming. The RedMagic 11 Pro is offered in black, silver, and transparent variants, starting at around $680. As it gears up for its international launch, the lingering question is whether all its advanced features will be accessible globally or if some will be limited to the Chinese market.
