Leaks indicate that the Galaxy Z Fold 8 will tackle essential user feedback with major enhancements. The forthcoming version of Samsung’s foldable smartphone is rumored to include a more substantial 5,000 mAh battery, which should deliver improved battery life compared to the Z Fold 7’s 4,400 mAh capacity. Furthermore, Samsung is anticipated to reinstate S Pen support, a feature that was eliminated in the prior model to streamline thickness. The company is reportedly developing an upgraded S Pen to fit this modification.
Another significant enhancement is the minimization of the display crease. Samsung intends to implement a new “laser-drilling metal plate” technology to render the crease less noticeable, thus improving the overall display experience. This innovation may also be utilized by Apple for its anticipated foldable iPhone.
These enhancements are part of Samsung’s plan to capitalize on the success of the Galaxy Z Fold 7, which had already resolved concerns regarding thickness and weight.
