Meta has been intensifying its efforts to empower users with conversation control on Threads. Today (Oct.29), it unveiled two new tools designed to help maintain a clean and focused comment section, preventing unnecessary trolling from disrupting your posts.

The first feature is “reply approvals.” While this may require more of your attention, it aims to keep interactions as respectful as possible in your Threads posts. Users will have the ability to select which replies are displayed publicly, even before any comment is associated with your post for public viewing. In the app, users will find a list of comments awaiting your approval.
