Insider Tarun Vats found that Samsung has incorporated a gentle, black outline around the Quick Settings menu icons, enhancing their visibility. While the existing One UI 8 Quick Settings is sleek, this modification seeks to improve the visual distinction of components. The adjustment is confined to toggle icons, featuring blurred backgrounds and unchanged sliders.
Originally, a One UI 8.5 beta program was anticipated for November, but the latest information implies that this schedule is now improbable. The postponement may be attributed to uncertainties regarding Samsung’s Galaxy S26 series lineup. Reports indicate that Samsung has eliminated the Galaxy S26 Edge in favor of bringing back the S26 Plus, with a possible launch postponed until March next year.
