Despite the $2,899.99 price tag for the 512GB model, it sold out quickly once again.
Samsung has released a new batch of Galaxy Z TriFold units after the initial stock sold out. This foldable phone transforms into a 10-inch tablet and quickly sold out in less than ten minutes. This either reflects its popularity or suggests that only a limited number are being produced. Launched on January 30th, this model is available exclusively on Samsung’s website.
The TriFold is priced at $2,899.99 and features 512GB of storage. It offers a versatile experience: functioning as a standard phone when folded, providing more screen space when partially opened, and transforming into a tablet for efficient multitasking.
While awaiting the review unit, Allison Johnson enjoyed using the Z Fold 7 as a portable computer by pairing it with a wireless keyboard, suggesting the TriFold’s additional screen size could enhance this setup. It’s up to buyers to decide if the $1,000 price difference is justified.
Update, February 20th 10:22am ET: The TriFold sold out within minutes, continuing the waiting period for those unable to purchase it.
