Arturia’s FX Collection 6 Introduces Two New Effects and a $99 Intro Version

EFX Ambient and Pitch Shifter-910 have been added to Arturia’s plugin suite, enhancing its quirky offerings. The FX Collection has been updated with these new plugins and now includes an Intro version with six basic effects for $99, while the full FX Collection Pro offers 39 effects for $499. The Pitch Shifter-910, inspired by the Eventide H910 Harmonizer, delivers distinct, glitchy sounds rather than natural harmonies, featuring both classic and modern modes for diverse outputs. Meanwhile, EFX Ambient provides unique effects like ethereal reverbs, resonators, glitch processing, and reverse delays, equipped with an X/Y control for sound movement. These new effects aren’t part of the Intro version, which includes other essential plugins like Efx Motions and Rev Plate-140, offering versatility in delay, reverb, and modulation. Although the Pro version is priced at $499, its expansion from 15 to 39 effects since 2020 makes it a more appealing option, steadily building Arturia’s reputation for high-quality effects alongside its V Collection of soft synths.
