Apple has invited the tech press to a “special Apple experience” on March 4, although it might differ from the typical press event. According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple plans a “three-day flurry of announcements,” likely revealed online, leading to the March 4 “experience” with events in New York, London, and Shanghai where the press can get hands-on with new products.
Daring Fireball’s John Gruber speculated the experience might be “a hands-on thing with in-person demos.”
Apple is expected to announce at least five new products, including a low-cost MacBook. Other possibilities include the iPhone 17e, an iPad Air with an M4 chip, a new entry-level iPad, and upgraded MacBook Air and new MacBook Pro models. Gurman suggested these products are due this spring but was unsure about the exact announcement timing.
