The new item trackers enhance precision and range, simplifying the process of locating your belongings.

Less than a month after their release, Apple’s second-generation AirTags are already seeing discounts. Currently, Costco members can purchase five location trackers for $99.99 ($29 off) either online or in-store, reducing each tracker’s price to approximately $20. Non-members can also enjoy the discount by paying a $5 surcharge or subscribing to an annual membership starting at $65.

Apple’s original AirTag has been highly favored among iPhone users, and the latest version continues that legacy with notable improvements. The standout feature has always been Apple’s ultra wideband chip, offering exceptional precision unmatched by competitors like the Tile Pro. The upgraded chip maintains its ability to guide you to misplaced items with arrows, vibrations, and sounds, now from 50 percent further away. This extended range enhances tracking reliability in multi-level homes and speeds up the connection to your phone. The built-in speaker is also 50 percent louder, aiding in finding hidden trackers.

The new model retains beloved features from the original AirTag, such as the user-replaceable battery and IP67 water and dust resistance. It also boasts an expanded Bluetooth range and useful software features that allow you to share your tracker with up to five people or temporarily share its location with airlines like United, Delta, and American Airlines.
