Wearables startup CUDIS is set to release its latest health ring series, featuring an AI “agent coach” to support users in achieving their fitness goals. Unlike other wearables, CUDIS promotes healthy behavior through a points system where users earn “health points” for activities such as sleep and steps, redeemable for discounts.
The ring’s AI Coach employs generative AI for crafting personalized exercise and health programs, offering daily tasks, recovery protocols, supplement advice, and professional referrals. It monitors various body metrics and daily activities, assessing the Pace of Aging (PoA) to indicate if one’s body is aging faster or slower than their chronological age.
CEO Edison Chen shared that since their 2024 launch, over 30,000 units of the initial two models have been sold, with the user base reaching 250,000 across 103 countries. Key markets include North America, Europe, and Asia. The AI highlights adverse trends, offers lifestyle recommendations, or connects users to professionals as needed.
Data security is ensured via the Solana blockchain, maintaining user privacy. CUDIS announced $5 million in seed funding, led by Draper Associates and other investors. A Kickstarter launch is also on the horizon.
