### Apple Teams Up with Netflix for Formula 1 Streaming

In anticipation of the inaugural Formula 1 Grand Prix of the season, Apple has revealed a major collaboration with Netflix. This alliance will allow the complete new season (season eight) of the celebrated documentary series *Formula 1: Drive to Survive* to be available for streaming on Apple TV.

Alongside the documentary series, Apple will also broadcast the F1 Canadian Grand Prix on both Apple TV and Netflix in May, enhancing access to F1 content for enthusiasts.

*Formula 1: Drive to Survive* is a well-loved series that offers a comprehensive look at the racers and events of the Formula One World Championship. The series has been instrumental in expanding the F1 audience since its launch.

Eddy Cue, Apple’s head of services, conveyed enthusiasm regarding the partnership, stating, “We’re excited to make F1 content more widely accessible to both new and existing US fans on Netflix and Apple TV.” He underscored Netflix’s significant contribution to sparking interest in F1 through *Drive to Survive*.

Season eight of *Drive to Survive* is scheduled to launch at midnight and will feature eight episodes that highlight the 2025 Formula One World Championship. The first Grand Prix of the season is set for March 7, showcasing the Formula 1 Qatar Airways Australian Grand Prix 2026. Beginning this year, Apple TV subscribers will have the capability to stream all F1 races at no extra charge.

This collaboration signifies a meaningful advancement in the way F1 content is accessed, making it more reachable for a broader audience.
