Vivo’s Next Phone to Launch with a Professional Camera Rig

1 Min Read

Vivo has unveiled its next flagship phone, the X300 Ultra, at MWC, marking the company’s first Ultra launch beyond China. The X300 Ultra will feature a 200-megapixel telephoto camera, continuing from last year’s X200 Ultra. Vivo has also introduced the Telephoto Extender Gen2 Ultra, co-engineered with Zeiss, which will attach to the phone to extend the lens’ focal length to 400mm. Additionally, a new “pro-grade” camera cage developed with SmallRig will offer cold shoe mounts, quick-release ports, shutter and zoom controls, and a cooling fan, positioning the X300 Ultra as a tool for professional photographers and videographers. Though the X300 Ultra will launch globally later this year, it’s unlikely to be released in the US, and the extent of its availability in Europe remains uncertain.
