Here’s all we discovered regarding the Nothing Phone 4a at the smartphone’s color palette unveiling.
Nothing is preparing to unveil the Phone 4a in London during a “Built Different” event scheduled for March 5, but it provided a glimpse of the model’s four color options at MWC 2026. We previously knew that the Phone 4a would be available in a striking pink tone and a timeless white shade due to earlier Nothing teasers. Nevertheless, this is the first occasion we’re encountering the official blue and black variants for the Nothing Phone 4a, which gives us insight into the forthcoming midrange smartphones.
There’s a shade for everyone in the Nothing Phone 4a collection, and you can view the phone in black, blue, pink, and white options below. The black and white variants are a bit more understated, whereas the blue and pink editions are designed to catch the eye. Observing the Phone 4a color selections in person, it’s evident that the blue is a rich, lively hue while the pink is a softer, pastel tone.
Beyond the primary colors, we also observed how Nothing adds its unique touch to the Phone 4a design. The device features a transparent panel that reveals a thoughtfully designed backdrop, with a pill-shaped camera bump located at the top center of the handset.
The flash sensor is placed slightly off-center above the camera bump, surrounded by a ring of coils encircling the complete setup. This coil ring matches the color of each Phone 4a model.
We can’t overlook the Glyph Bar — the newest version of Nothing’s Glyph Interface created for the Phone 4a line. It consists of a bar with six square lights and an additional red recording light. Each square contains nine mini-LED lights for added personalization. Nothing claims it’s 40% lighter than the Glyph Interface found in the Nothing Phone 3a series and is also intended to be less distracting.
What we discovered about the Nothing Phone 4a
Upon inspecting the Phone 4a in person, it’s apparent that the six Glyph Bar squares seamlessly integrate with the selected colorway when not active. The red recording light, however, remains visible when it’s off. Nothing phones have traditionally featured a red square as part of their see-through design, so this feels appropriate. This time, it serves a practical purpose within the Glyph Bar system.
We also observed that the white, blue, and pink iterations of the Phone 4a carry silver rear camera housing, irrespective of the colorway. Conversely, the black model boasts a color-matched black rear camera housing. The black Phone 4a variant is likewise the only one in the series to have black side buttons. For all other Phone 4a models, the side buttons are silver. Even on the black Phone 4a, the Essential Key is a shiny silver tone for easy identification.
For now, that’s all we’ve gathered about the Nothing Phone 4a. We have four new color options, including two that exhibit a bit of flair. Nothing is poised to officially unveil the Phone 4a during a London event on March 5. The new budget smartphones will launch alongside the upcoming Nothing Headphone a.
