Gotta construct it all.
Pokémon’s 30th anniversary is marked by an impressive new life simulation spinoff from Nintendo, The Pokémon Company, Game Freak, and Omega Force. Pokémon Pokopia launches on March 5th, debuting exclusively on the Nintendo Switch 2. Blending elements of Animal Crossing, Minecraft, and Dragon Quest Builders, Pokopia presents a vast, human-free Pokémon world ready for rebuilding. Initially, it might seem like a game about building friendships and crafting areas. However, our review reveals it as a grander adventure, which we’re eager to discuss with you.
Over the past week, my colleague Kallie Plagge and I have explored the game and will be addressing questions from Verge subscribers this afternoon. If you’re curious about the types of structures you can create, the workings of in-game friendships, or the variety of character customization options available, we’re here to help. Rest assured, no major spoilers will be shared, but we’ll offer personal insights.
Consider the questions you might have, and join us at 2 PM ET for some answers.
