Apple has temporarily shuttered its corporate offices along with five Apple Store locations in the United Arab Emirates due to a notable increase in conflict in the Middle East. This action was taken following advice from the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation, which recommended that private sector entities reduce worker presence in open areas, except for critical roles necessitating physical attendance. The guidance also promoted telecommuting options whenever possible.

The closures commenced on Saturday, February 28, at 3 PM, and have been prolonged through Friday, March 6, with intentions to resume operations on Saturday, March 7. The impacted Apple Store locations consist of:

– Abu Dhabi: Apple Al Maryah Island and Apple Yas Mall
– Dubai: Apple Dubai Mall and Apple Mall of the Emirates
– Al Ain: Apple Al Jimi Mall

This preventive action is scheduled for a span of three days, from Sunday, March 1, through Friday, March 6, but may be adjusted based on the developing circumstances in the region. The closures underscore the company’s dedication to the safety and wellness of its employees and customers amid the current instability.
