I have completed the review of the CHUWI CoreBook Air Plus 16, featuring an AMD Ryzen 5 6600H SoC. All software testing with Windows 11 Pro and Ubuntu 25.10 confirmed the use of an AMD Ryzen 5 6600H SoC. However, I needed to verify that the actual CPU on the motherboard matched the advertised chip for reasons explained below. Let’s verify it now.
I had already conducted a teardown of the laptop, but the processor was covered by copper cooling pipes, making it impossible to read the chip’s markings.

Earlier today, I removed the laptop’s bottom cover and loosened the three screws securing the pipes above the CPU to examine the processor’s markings.
