Claude AI by Anthropic Now Can Respond with Charts, Diagrams, and Other Visuals

Claude will now create interactive visuals during conversations, or you can request them directly. Anthropic’s latest update enables the AI chatbot to generate charts, diagrams, and other visualizations based on chat context. For example, a discussion about the periodic table might lead to an interactive visualization, allowing users to click for more details. Similarly, Claude can produce visuals for various topics, such as illustrating how weight distribution works in a building.

While Claude can autonomously decide to provide visualizations, users can also ask it to create specific diagrams, tables, or charts. This feature aligns with recent advancements by other AI platforms. OpenAI’s ChatGPT can now create interactive visuals in math and science, and Google’s Gemini offers educational images you can engage with.

Anthropic already includes interactive creation tools like charts, documents, and apps in Claude, accessible via the “artifacts” feature. These artifacts remain consistent and can be shared or downloaded. However, visuals generated within conversations are subject to change or disappear as the exchange unfolds, allowing for adjustments to your visual requests.

The new visualization feature is now available to all Claude users and is activated by default.
