Who will take home the night’s biggest awards? By Belen Edwards and Kristy Puchko on March 15, 2026.

Who will take home Oscar gold at the 98th Academy Awards? So far, this awards season has been a race between two movies. Ryan Coogler’s breathtaking vampire film “Sinners” set an Oscar record with 16 nominations, making it the most Oscar-nominated film of all time. Elsewhere, Paul Thomas Anderson’s revolutionary epic “One Battle After Another” has been dominating awards season, taking home top honors at various precursor awards. However, “Sinners'” ensemble win at the Actor Awards could signal an Oscars surge for the film.

Mashable will be updating this article throughout the night during the 98th Academy Awards, so follow along here to see which of your favorite movies have won (or been snubbed).
