Real estate agents may face new competition as a Florida man reportedly used an AI chatbot to sell his home quickly. Robert Levine relied on OpenAI’s ChatGPT for tasks like preparing, listing, and advising on the sale of his home. He even had the AI create marketing materials, coordinate showings, and draft the contract, which he later had a human review. According to NBC 6, Levine got five offers within 72 hours and sold the property in five days, estimating a 3 percent cost savings by avoiding human assistance.

It’s a success story AI developers love: efficiency and cost savings through an AI chatbot. However, experts caution against sharing personal details with chatbots and recommend using them as a preliminary step in processes like legal document preparation since AI lacks human expertise and experience.
