Sonos Audio Products Receive Initial 2026 Discounts

The best prices from last year have returned for the Ace wireless headphones, Roam 2, and Move 2 speakers.

Amazon’s Big Spring Sale starts on March 25th, but great tech deals can already be found. Sonos has started sales on several of its products, including some that haven’t been discounted yet this year. While Sonos is known for its home theater equipment, these discounts are on products just as enjoyable outdoors as they are indoors.

Starting off, the Sonos Ace wireless headphones are now $299 (originally $399) at Amazon, Best Buy, and Sonos, but only in black. This is $20 more than their best-ever price but marks their first discount of the year. The Ace headphones, the first wireless attempt by Sonos, feature active noise cancellation, comfort, and great sound—rivaling others in the category—now at a lower price than most competitors. Their unique TV Audio Swap lets you switch audio from a Sonos soundbar (including the Arc, Beam, or Ray) to the Ace for private listening.

The Roam 2 Bluetooth speaker is $139 at Amazon, Best Buy, and Sonos, matching the $40 off price seen during Black Friday and December last year. Though similar in performance to the first model, the 2024 version offers new features like separate power and Bluetooth pairing buttons and immediate Bluetooth speaker functionality. Previously, setup via the Sonos app was required. The Roam 2 supports Sound Swap, letting playback switch from the Roam 2 to other Sonos speakers. Pair a Bluetooth device to the Roam 2 and share the audio with other Sonos speakers.

The larger Move 2 Bluetooth speaker is $399 ($100 off) at Amazon, Best Buy, and Sonos, marking a discount unseen since last year’s end. This speaker outperforms its predecessor with stereo sound, twice the battery life, and line-in playback for wired sources. According to former reviewer Chris Welch, the Move 2 is akin to a wireless Era 100 but more portable with IP54 protection.

For home theater improvements, two deals from the Super Bowl have returned. The second-gen Sonos Beam soundbar is $369 in black or white at Amazon, Best Buy, and Sonos. Despite appearing old, it still provides an expanded sound stage not seen in the first-gen model. The Beam boasts Dolby Atmos support, but lacks up-facing speakers for true Atmos. The review advises against upgrading for Atmos alone. Compared to the more affordable Ray soundbar, however, the Beam is more powerful.

The Sonos Sub Mini, the most affordable wireless subwoofer from Sonos, isn’t very cheap even when discounted. Regularly $499, it’s now $399 in white or black at Amazon, Sonos, and Best Buy. Though once available for around $350, that hasn’t happened for over six months. The Sub Mini isn’t meant for large rooms (the $899 Sub 4 is better for that) but can enhance low-end presence for movies and games in small- to medium-sized rooms.
