Warner Bros. has released the first full trailer for Denis Villeneuve’s third Dune film. While it doesn’t reveal everything, it highlights key characters who will conclude Paul Atreides’ (Timothée Chalamet) story. Set a few years after the events of Part Two, Dune: Part Three finds Paul and Chani (Zendaya) eagerly awaiting the birth of their first child.
Although the couple seems unaware they’re about to have twins, they understand the danger Paul faces as he wages a war to control the universe. Tleilaxu Face Dancer Scytale (Robert Pattinson) poses a threat Paul must watch out for. However, it’s unclear how Paul’s sister Alia (Anya Taylor-Joy) and a resurrected Duncan Idaho (Jason Momoa) might challenge his power.
The trailer suggests Part Three will be another hit when it premieres on December 18th, leaving audiences curious about what kind of popcorn buckets they’ll be indulging in while watching.
