Harlowe has introduced a new omnidirectional light compatible with the DJI Osmo 360 and Insta360 X5. While omnidirectional camera lights, like those from Bushman, start at over $300, Harlowe offers a more affordable $95 option known as the Omni 360. This light provides an even, diffused glow in all directions and is ideal for creating highlights and reducing harsh shadows in close proximity to the camera.
The Omni 360 delivers 2W of light but can be increased to 4W, though neither setting is sufficient for illuminating dark environments. It includes buttons for adjusting brightness and color temperature, and also supports hands-free gestures to avoid disturbing the camera.
Rated IP54 for dust and splash resistance, the Omni 360 is not intended for underwater use. To address the lack of mounts on consumer 360-degree cameras, Harlowe provides aluminum cages with added cold shoe mounts, available as part of a $159 bundle for the Insta360 X5 or DJI Osmo 360. These mounts position the light on top to minimize its visibility in 360-degree footage.
