The Pokémon Home connectivity feature in the game will significantly simplify creating teams with your favorite Pokémon. Currently, Pokopia has players engaged in building houses and enhancing the world, but next month, we’ll be focusing on Pokémon battles in Pokémon Champions. Nintendo and The Pokémon Company have announced that Pokémon Champions will debut on the Nintendo Switch family of consoles on April 8th, with a mobile version to follow later in the year. A free update will be available on April 8th for Nintendo Switch 2 players, improving the game’s graphical quality. Additionally, a new trailer has been released, highlighting new footage and detailing integration with other games in the Pokémon series. Champions will offer a selection of random Pokémon for temporary use in battles, but players can also import their own Pokémon from games like Scarlet and Violet and Pokémon Go via the Pokémon Home app. This feature allows players to showcase their favorite Pokémon collections, which may otherwise remain boxed. However, as Champions is anticipated to be the primary platform for competitive play, players should choose their imported Pokémon wisely.
