Quixant IQON 3 and IQON Air 3 are new Ryzen Embedded 8000-based systems designed for casinos, sports betting, and arcade gaming machines. They utilize AMD Ryzen 5 and Ryzen 7 PRO R8000 Series SoCs, supporting four independent 4K displays. These systems include game-specific hardware like 4MB of battery-free MRAM for instant state saving, eleven intrusion-detection monitors, dedicated LED controllers, and casino-standard serial interfaces such as ccTalk, JCM ID003, and SAS.
The hardware specifications of the two systems are similar, but IQON 3 is passively cooled and fanless, while IQON Air 3 features a cooling fan to allow a higher TDP for graphics-intensive tasks.
Quixant IQON 3 and IQON Air 3 specifications include:

The article highlighted a discrepancy in the IQON Air 3 audio output specifications. Software support includes Quixant’s Essential and Enhanced Software Suite for system monitoring and API integrations. The design, while gaming-focused, is also suitable for Pro AV, digital signage, and broadcast control through Quixant’s sister company, Densitron.
Pricing and availability remain undisclosed but underscore a 10-year supply lifecycle. More details are available on the corresponding product pages and AMD’s press release.
