Seth Meyers Rants for 2 Minutes on Trump’s Odd Paperclip Tale

Seth Meyers at his ranting best is quite a show. In the above clip from Late Night, Meyers comments on footage of Trump describing his idea of sending ICE agents to airports, likening it to “the story of the paperclip,” and telling a reporter that “182 years ago a man discovered the paperclip.” Meyers questions Trump’s accuracy, stating, “If you’re wondering if Trump is right about the paperclip being invented 182 years ago, yes, he’s correct… AND OF ****ING COURSE IT WASN’T 182 YEARS AGO!! He’s just pulling numbers out of his ass!” Meyers further critiques Trump’s use of “discover,” saying, “Nobody discovered the paperclip. It was invented. Do you think Steve Jobs just found an iPod on the beach one day?”
