Many of Samsung’s older Galaxy phones have experienced a lengthy wait, but that is coming to an end today (Mar 26) with the arrival of the beta for its significant OS enhancement.
A newsroom announcement detailed what users should anticipate this week, as Samsung verifies that its One UI 8.5 beta is being deployed on various older devices. The announcement states that the beta is “available now” for the Galaxy S24, S24 FE, Galaxy Z Flip 6, Fold 6, and the Galaxy Tab S11. Although some of these are previous-gen models, Samsung also indicates that the beta is becoming accessible for Galaxy S25 FE users as well.
Only “specific” regions will receive this beta later this week. Residents in the U.S., Korea, India, and the U.K. can look forward to seeing the beta’s rollout and start enrolling. To do this, Samsung always points users to its Members app.
