SAVE $15: As of March 28, you can get a Kindle for just $94.99 at Amazon during the Big Spring Sale, which is 14% off its usual price and the best price since early January.

If there’s one thing we can always guarantee, it’s that Amazon devices will receive the biggest discounts during the retailer’s major sales events. This is true for Kindles during the Big Spring Sale (which runs through March 31). If you’ve been eyeing a Kindle but didn’t want to pay full price, now’s a great time to buy one.

As of March 28, the basic Kindle is down to just $94.99 at Amazon during the Big Spring Sale. That’s about $15 cheaper than usual and the best price since post-holiday season sales. Kindles don’t get discounted very often, so this is likely the cheapest you’ll find until Prime Day in June.

The smallest and most affordable in Amazon’s e-reader lineup, the basic Kindle is an excellent device. I own this model in the matcha shade and constantly recommend it to everyone I know. At six inches, it’s comfortable for one-handed reading and can easily slip into a purse. Though 16GB of storage may not sound like much, it’s enough to hold thousands of books. You can offload books to make space if needed, and it lasts up to six weeks before needing a charge.

While it’s not waterproof like the Kindle Paperwhite, it has the same screen resolution and adjustable front light. The display looks just like paper, with the same magic that somehow makes you read incredibly fast. However, exercise extra caution if you read at the beach or in the bathtub.

If you’re in the market for an e-reader and don’t want to spend over $100, I suggest grabbing the basic Kindle while it’s down to just $95.
