The Tallinn-based platform, previously known as WOIS.io, features over 1,000 professionals including Rovio co-founder Peter Vesterbacka and former Netflix CMO Bozoma Saint John. AI manages routine inquiries, while significant queries are addressed directly by the expert through asynchronous 1:1 video.

Pickmybrain, a Tallinn-based platform that converts professional expertise into AI-powered “Digital Brains,” has raised a $2.1 million pre-seed round from business angels, including Garri Zmudze, an early investor in Insilico Medicine, and Raison.app, an investment platform with $250 million in assets under management.

Founded by Sergei Verbitski, a serial entrepreneur with experience in AdTech, iGaming, and digital marketing, the company was initially named WOIS.io before its rebranding.

AI models on the platform are trained using an expert’s organized knowledge, such as interviews, articles, and recorded responses that they upload and approve.

The AI handles routine questions instantly in any language, while more valuable or personal inquiries are directed to the expert via asynchronous video, a service that the company claims is unique in the market.

Experts have complete control over the AI’s training content, and the platform offers tools for generating original responses for those without a significant digital presence.

The platform hosts over 1,000 professionals from sports, entertainment, and business, including Peter Vesterbacka and Bozoma Saint John. It integrates with wearables and offers both paid and free expert interaction tiers.

The funding will be used to expand the team, enter new markets, and enhance the product. Pickmybrain capitalizes on two growing trends: mainstream adoption of AI personas and the increasing desire among professionals to share expertise without becoming full-time content creators.
