Today marks Apple’s 50th anniversary. The company was founded by Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak, and Ronald Wayne on April 1, 1976, primarily to market Wozniak’s groundbreaking Apple I personal computer. Over the years, Apple has become one of the most successful companies globally, with its products integral to billions of lives.
To celebrate this milestone, Apple has transformed its website with a vibrant animation showcasing its most iconic products, from the earliest Macs to the latest Vision Pro. The accompanying message says, “At 50 years, it’s only natural to look back. But Apple has always looked forward, building tools and delivering experiences that enrich people’s lives. As we celebrate how far we’ve come, we’re inspired by where we’ll go — together.”
This isn’t the only celebration. Apple has announced a series of events spanning several weeks, including surprise concerts, such as Alicia Keys’ performance at Apple Grand Central in New York City.
