Dropout’s April Fools’ prank delighted comedy fans.
With Dimension 20: On a Bus, Dropout flipped the script on Game Masters like Jasmine Bhullar and Brennan Lee Mulligan by subjecting them to Katie Marovitch, a “Dragon Master” who admits she knows “nothing” about Dungeons & Dragons. The viral video gained over 6 million views and became the most popular episode on IMDb. When interviewed by Mashable, Marovitch noted the episode’s 9.9/10 IMDb rating and humorously addressed those few who rated it lower.
Marovitch donned an elf costume for her role as Game Master, claiming it helped boost her confidence. “The appearance is not a joke to me,” she said. “Something happens when I get dressed up in costume… I just change.”
For new Dragon Masters, Marovitch advised to “be prepared, organized, and go in with an open mind.” Despite the game’s typical collaborative nature, she introduced competition by adding points in Season 2. Reflecting on her performance, she believed she had made a strong impression and eagerly anticipates future opportunities, even live shows.
Dimension 20: On a Bus Season 2 is now streaming on Dropout.
