Since June last year, while various products have come and gone, the T1 remains awaited.
Where’s the Trump phone? It remains a mystery as inquiries about its status yield silence.
Despite recent signs of life, another week has passed without the Trump T1 Phone. It’s been over nine months since its announcement in June last year, and it consistently misses launch dates. That’s enough time for a baby to be conceived and born! It’s also the lifespan of three Samsung Galaxy Z TriFolds. This delay made me think about what other products and services have come and gone while we’ve been waiting for the T1. Here’s a partial list:
– The Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold was announced, released, and then discontinued.
– OpenAI launched Sora 2 along with its social video app, declared success, and then shut it down due to competition worries.
– Warner Bros. Discovery put itself up for sale, was nearly acquired by Netflix, but eventually got sold to Paramount.
– Another live-service game arrived and quickly left the scene.
– We went through the Labubu craze.
This isn’t a comprehensive list, but it shows how entire product life cycles have unfolded while waiting for this phone. Feel free to share what you’d add in the comments, and if you went through a pregnancy and birth during this time, I’m very interested to hear about it.
