Currently, there are discounts on the base iPad, the iPad Mini, iPad Air, and even the iPad Pro. While the best iPad deals are often during major events like Black Friday, many great deals are available at other times. Discounts fluctuate, so savings are often possible, particularly on the most affordable iPads and the latest iPad Mini. Discounts can also be found on the latest M5 iPad Pro, which is already on sale at various retailers.
Finding notable iPad deals isn’t easy without daily searches of major retailers. Our team at The Verge monitors deals regularly, so we’ve compiled a list of the best prices on each current iPad model, from the 11th-gen base iPad to the powerful models with M3, M4, and M5 chips.
The 11th-gen iPad, released a year ago, features 128GB of base storage (up from 64GB) and an A16 Bionic chip, which is nearly 30% faster than the A14 chip used in the 10th-gen iPad. However, it doesn’t support Apple Intelligence features introduced in iPadOS 18.1 and later updates, so consider newer iPad Air, iPad Mini, or iPad Pro models.
The base iPad starts at $349 with Wi-Fi and 128GB storage, with options for 256GB or 512GB at an added cost. LTE models start at $499. It’s available at Amazon and for Costco members at $299.99 ($50 off). The 256GB model starts at $399.99, and the 512GB variant at $597, both discounted.
The seventh-gen iPad Mini is similar to the previous model but includes internal upgrades like faster Wi-Fi, USB-C speeds, Apple Pencil Pro support, a newer A17 Pro processor, and an 8.3-inch Liquid Retina display with 5G options. The new model starts at $499 for 128GB, $599 for 256GB, and cellular models start at $649. Currently, it’s discounted at Amazon, with the base model at $474 ($25 off) and the 256GB variant at $569 ($30 off).
Apple recently announced a new iPad Air with the M4 chip. Available in 11-inch and 13-inch sizes, it’s up to 30% faster, offers 12GB of RAM, and features the N1 wireless chip for Bluetooth 6, Wi-Fi 7, and Thread support. The base 128GB Wi-Fi model is discounted, available for $556.50 at Amazon, while Best Buy and Walmart offer it for $559. The 256GB variant is $646.50, and the 13-inch model is $746.50 at Walmart.
Though Apple doesn’t officially sell last year’s iPad Air, it’s available and discounted at third-party retailers. The 11-inch model with 128GB starts at around $499, the 256GB model at $599.99, and the 13-inch model starts at $699 for 128GB and $799.99 for 256GB.
Deals for the M4 iPad Pro aren’t as notable as current discounts on the 2025 iPad Pro. The high-end tablet features a faster M5 chip, new C1X modem, N1 chip, improved memory speeds, and fast charging. The 11-inch model with 256GB is $936.50, the 512GB model is $1,099.99, while the 1TB variant is $1,499. The 13-inch model with 256GB is $1,199, the 512GB model $1,399, and the 1TB model is $1,747.
