The upcoming Samsung S27 lineup, expected next year, may introduce a new member, the Galaxy S27 Pro, as a secondary premium choice between Samsung’s Ultra and Plus models, initially reported by ETNews.
This new Pro model is said to omit support for the S Pen while featuring Samsung’s Privacy Display, currently exclusive to the Galaxy S26 Ultra. The Privacy Display enables users to restrict the phone’s viewing angle so that content is visible only when viewed directly. According to ET News’s sources, Samsung plans to launch two phones with this advanced display technology in its next-gen lineup, likely the S27 Ultra and the new S27 Pro.
While details on the S27 Pro’s price and other specifications remain unclear, it might have a smaller display than the Ultra model while retaining the Ultra’s high-end camera arrangement, similar to the iPhone Pro it would compete against. Introducing the S27 Pro would expand Samsung’s Galaxy lineup to four flagship models, aligning with Apple’s latest smartphone offerings.
