At nearly 8 feet wide, the Lightwall is larger than most TVs but with much less resolution. Govee has introduced an upgraded version of its Curtain Lights Pro that can now be used almost anywhere with access to a power source. Priced at $449.99, Govee’s new Lightwall costs more than double the $199.99 Curtain Lights Pro, featuring more densely packed LEDs and a self-standing aluminum frame that can be assembled in 10 to 15 minutes without tools.
When mounted on its stand, the Lightwall spans 7.9 feet wide and 5.3 feet tall, containing 1,536 color-changing LEDs arranged in a 48 x 32 grid. It is water-resistant and can refresh up to 35fps but is not intended for viewing television or movies.
The Lightwall connects to Govee’s Home app, allowing selection from over 200 preset scenes, simple animations, 10 music modes synchronized with beats, or color coordination with other Govee products for ambiance. The app can utilize AI to generate custom animated GIFs from text prompts or enable custom design creation by drawing with fingers, stacking up to 30 doodle layers. The Lightwall is compatible with smart homes and supports Matter, allowing control via Govee’s app or voice commands with Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa.
