You might not realize this, but AirDrop isn’t just for Apple devices.
If you’re tired of your Apple friends saying, “Just AirDrop it to me,” there’s good news. The over-the-air file sharing associated with iPhones, iPads, and Mac devices is now available on select Google Pixel devices. To share, tap Quick Share on what you want to send to a nearby Apple device; if their AirDrop settings are open, you can share the content with them.
However, not every Pixel phone supports AirDrop.

Here’s the full list of every Pixel phone that can AirDrop content with Apple devices: it’s only compatible with the Pixel 9 and Pixel 10 families. The Pixel 9a, however, does not support AirDrop via Quick Share. Pixel 9 users will need to upgrade to utilize this feature.
Hopefully, Google will continue this useful feature in future Pixel releases.
