I found the AI avatar unnerving during the interview as it listened to my answers. Millions are job hunting, and AI avatars conducting interviews through video calls have sparked debate. Companies like CodeSignal, Humanly, and Eightfold are behind this trend. They claim AI interviews reduce bias and allow more candidates to be heard. However, as reported, achieving a bias-free AI system is impossible due to biases present in online data.
