Android 16 has at last been released! Following several Beta versions and giving us a preview of nearly all features expected from the new OS, Google has rolled out the software’s stable version today (June 10).

Typically, stable Android versions debut between August and October, often aligning with Google Pixel launches. This time, Google assured an earlier rollout and has indeed fulfilled that promise. In its press announcement, Google also mentioned that Android 16 will soon implement the new Material 3 Expressive design for Pixel phones, improving the user experience.
