Google is introducing a new calling feature in the Phone by Google app that allows callers to indicate the purpose of their call, including marking it as urgent. This is the first instance of this capability in Android, and some beta users have already started utilizing it.
Previously, Android users relied on “Starred Contacts” or repeated caller settings to manage unwanted calls, but these methods were often very basic. Google is innovating this with a new feature.
